Video Blogging

Is slightly more complex than I thought. I took this with my Apple iSight camera and then recorded it with Ecamm, uploaded it to YouTube, and embedded it back down here. Although all the tech bloggers do this and more, it’s not for the faint of heart. However, I had a reason: I’m leaving for Malaysia and Thailand on Thursday, and I wanted a way to share video. Yes, I will also take some with my camera, but usually when I go on a trip I spend thousands of mobile phone dollars trying to communicate with friends back home. I’m hoping that will not be the case this time, because I will write, take pictures, and record myself talking. Famous last words 🙂 Homage to Chris Pirillo, who really has this down. I probably should have called him for help, but wanted to try it alone.

Hey – since you’re a YouTuber, you might want to check this out… There’s a video company that’s recruiting
YouTubers and if they like your stuff, (and they should) they will actually pay you when your video gets a hit.
Here’s their link… http://www.flownetworkproductions.com/videorevenue.htm. It’s about time the people who make
the videos get some of the money instead ng to YouTube! of it all goi
